Terms of Service

The deal. MoiKit lets you build a portfolio for free and publish it for a one-time $27 fee. There is no subscription required to keep your published site live.

Drafts and the free build window. Building a draft is free and unrestricted for 3 days. If you haven't published by then, the draft (and its uploaded media) is deleted automatically. We email you at 24 hours and 2 hours before that happens, and we hold a restorable copy for 7 days afterward. Come back within those 7 days and publish, and everything is exactly as you left it.

What $27 buys, exactly. Your published site stays live at your chosen address, with the features and functionality that exist on the date you publish, plus unlimited edits to your own content, for as long as MoiKit hosts published sites. New paid features introduced later don't take away anything you already have.

Your way out, always. You can delete your site yourself whenever you want. If MoiKit ever winds down, we'll give at least 90 days' notice.

Your content, your responsibility. You keep all rights to the content you upload. You confirm you have the right to use what you publish (your videos, images, client names, and testimonials). We can remove content or close accounts that are unlawful, impersonate someone, infringe others' rights, or abuse the service, with notice except where the content is clearly unlawful.

Optional paid extras. Custom domains purchased through MoiKit are registered in your name with full transfer-out rights, and renew annually at the price shown at purchase. The Booked subscription, when available, is billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled anytime; cancelling stops the subscription features but never affects your published site.

The boring-but-necessary part. The service is provided as-is; our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to account holders before they take effect, and no update reduces the “what $27 buys” commitment above for existing purchases.
